This role with carry out the required V&V support activities and make recommendations based on the V&V results within the SEA1180 Program. The incumbent will be required to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the acceptance of the SEA1180 Project. Offered on a full-time maximum term basis until 30 November 2024 or on a permanent basis with relocation to Perth at the end of 2024. ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain effective relationships with both customers and the wider project team.Review V&V plans, processes and proceduresDevelop Acceptance Test Procedures (ATProc) and coordinate their execution. Prepare and conduct test readiness reviews to ensure all prerequisites are met. Review test readiness and authorize the team to proceed to the testing phase.Approve V&V plans and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.Coordinate Acceptance Test Procedures (ATProc) execution.Detect faults and identify rectification strategies during testing.Prepare post-test reports and conduct thorough analysisReport on the acceptance test status to the V&V lead. Support the development of V&V deliverables, including V&V plans, verification cross-reference matrix, and acceptance test plans.Managing data and information to support requirements and final acceptanceContribute to the development of safety requirements and assessments, ensuring safety standards are met. RequirementsIf this role interests you however you don't meet the below requirements, we still encourage you to apply.Relevant tertiary qualifications (engineering - Electrical, Communications, Electronics, Mechatronics) and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role .Experience in platform acceptanceExperience in design requirements management and testing activitiesExperience and understanding of defence environmentExperience in working in large and complex programsExperience in managing multiple activities, priorities and effectively managing these timeframesUnderstanding of System Engineering Verification & Validation (V&V) processes & concepts.Experience in managing engineering validation and verification activities within the mechanical, software or electrical domains.Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office SuiteWell-developed communication and interpersonal skillsThere is a mandatory Security requirement for all staff requiring unescorted access to the Osborne Naval Shipyard Naval
