Vet And Cricos Compliance Officer

Laurus Education is a vocational education and training (VET) management company, overseeing the work of multiple colleges.

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and motivated VET and CRICOS Compliance Officer to join our compliance team to maintain our regulatory and organisational obligations. You will assist with monitoring and reporting on compliance. This full-time role reports directly to the Group Administration, Training and Compliance Manager.

The Role

• Reviewing and maintaining all course and policy documentation, ensuring ongoing compliance with ASQA standards.
• Overseeing all internal and external audits to meet regulatory requirements
• Liaising with ASQA and other state and federal government bodies in relation to registration, additions to the scope, and other related issues
• Reviewing all the policies and procedures of RTO and updating when required
• Manage all reporting requirements to meet contract compliance including creating written reports and extracting AVETMISS data via Student Management System.
• Promoting continuous improvement practices across the entire organisation.
• Communicating any regulatory requirements or compliance issues to the management team and staff across the organisation.
• Creating and updating TAS documents.
• Monitor the RTO's compliance with the VET Quality Framework.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements.

What you need

• A strong background in RTO Compliance - Standards for RTO (2015) and contractual compliance; with a 2-year background in a similar role
• Strong Understanding of National Code 2018, ESOS Act, and any other ASQA requirements.
• ESOS Act
• Can demonstrate experience in a CRICOS registered RTO
• Can demonstrate experience in an ELICOS Provider organisation
