Our fast-growing, innovative company operates in six locations around Australia and is looking for a passionate individual to join our company’s senior management team and lead Victoria’s operations.
About the Role:
The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for successfully managing the State of Victoria’s operations, including the workshop, hire fleet, field service, spare parts, and local transport.
Beyond the management of the various departmental Managers, you will also regularly co-ordinate with the State Sales Manager and their team of Sales Executives to assist in the generation of new business and the timely delivery of sales orders.
This role also involves the following, but is not limited to;
- Recruit, train, mentor and managed the performance of staff;
- Assist in the creation of state strategies, goal setting and achievement;
- Ensure the state and departmental monthly, quarterly and yearly targets goals are met;
- Maintain and develop strong customer relationships;
- Develop and drive local process improvements;
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement;
- Assist with the development of annual budgets and meeting them;
- Implement the company annual business plans;
- Monitor and oversee operational quotes and invoicing;
- Compile management information reports;
- Monitor rework, lost hours, and work in progress;
- Monitor correct allocation of times and costs, including chargeable and lost hours;
- Commercially resolve customer issues while protecting the company’s interests;
- Maximise the profitability of the company and return on its resources;
- Maintain high degree of professionalism and end to end staff management;
- Lead and manage the operational activities of the State.
