As a member of our team, you will receive training and support to develop a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice. This includes recognising the signs of trauma, understanding how trauma can manifest in behaviour, and adopting practices that prioritise the physical and emotional safety of ourselves and our clients. By embracing a trauma-informed approach, we aim to foster resilience and healing in those we serve whilst also supporting the well-being of our team.

Your responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:
• Providing direct support services to victims of crime, including emotional support, advocacy, and referrals to appropriate services.
• Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement support plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with confidentiality policies and procedures.
• Participating in regular team meetings, activities, and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge on the impacts of trauma and how to manage it.
• Engaging in self-care practices and seeking support from colleagues when needed to manage the emotional demands of our work.
