THE ROLE
The Village Manager is responsible for liaising directly with the residents within our villages, providing regular support and exceptional customer service to ensure our residents needs are being met, and providing administrative support, coordinating reports, records and resident correspondence. This is a part time role Tuesday & Thursday 9am-1pm in Wollaston Court.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a first point of contact for all village residents and their families
- Manage and monitor village budgets and Key Performance Indicators to ensure compliance
- Monitor property maintenance needs and services within the village
- Maintain an awareness of all issues which may affect the village and, if necessary, escalate as required
- Collaborate with the Resident Group and Committee to create a vibrant social community for all residents
- Ensure that the interests and needs of the Resident Group are supported through activities and services provided through the village
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will ideally have a background in the Retirement Living/Community Housing or Aged Care sector with a genuine interest in proactively creating positive aging in place outcomes for residents.

- Previous experience managing village budgets and reporting structures
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated documented implementation
- Ability to analyse problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies that lead to successful outcomes
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Essential Criteria
- Evidence of COVID-19 and current Flu vaccinations
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Completion of pre-employment health and reference checks
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- C Class Driver’s Licence
