PlayUp is a fast growing Australian owned and operated online Corporate Bookmaker. We pride ourselves on our Customer Service and all team members being a part of our success. We are Sydney based with our offices in Zetland, but we accommodate our client base Australia wide. PlayUp is one of the Aussie punters favourite brands and we are looking to add another VIP Account Manager to our team to keep up with our growing customer base!
The Role
We are looking to hire an energetic and highly motivated person to fill our newly opened VIP Account Manager role. You must have a strong work ethic, be of good character and above all possess exceptional people skills. You will be required to work both within a team environment and individually. Although the role won’t be Mon-Fri 9-5, our operating hours are 24/7, so flexibility is crucial as this role requires being available for client communication 7 days a week, weekend events and potentially some travel. The ideal candidate will require an ability to quickly build relationships with clients and maintain them, building a strong rapport to ensure the best customer service is provided. Reporting to the Head of VIP, you will be required to be in our Zetland office during weekdays, however we provide flexibility to work from home as well. To do the role successfully, you will ultimately garner loyalty and exclusivity from the client. Industry experience is ideal but not essential. The successful candidate will be based on their character.
Key Responsibilities
Your main focus will be the retention of your client portfolio, building and maintaining client relationships and working/hosting occasional events. Your client portfolio will continue to grow, so you’ll need to have effective time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and responsibilities. Providing insights, ideas and initiatives amongst the team will be required as we are an all hands on deck unit. You will be required to operate cost effectively whilst contributing to hit team KPI’s. You will be provided with a company mobile phone and laptop and be always available for customer engagement and requests.
