Introduction:
Join Metso on an 5/2:4/3 roster at Karratha's newest and best equipped repair facility. We are seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join our Service team in the newly built Metso Karratha Service Centre.
This position is a residential role in Karratha.
What you'll do:
- Responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of transactions for movement of goods into and out of the warehouse.
- Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Internal Sales and Purchasing Departments to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
- Managing stock levels and undertaking regular stocktake.
- Running periodic reports on warehouse KPIs and operations.
- Maintaining an accurate filing and document control system.
- Participating in annual, periodic or cyclic stock counts.
- Prompt reporting of inventory, paperwork or transactional discrepancies.
- Liaising with other departments, suppliers and transport companies where required and as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years administration experience - preferably in a medium/heavy industrial equipment or warehouse environment.
- Strong computer literacy - preferably with experience in SAP and Lotus Notes
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- SAP experience - desirable
