Pay Rate: $30 - $33 per hour (depending on skills and qualifications)

Maxima's Recruitment Services is currently seeking highly motivated individual for the positions of Warehouse and Logistics Officerfor one of our clients.
Primary Role Purpose: The Warehouse & Logistics Officer proactively contributes to the day-to-day operations of our various warehouses, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective delivery of materials and equipment for our customers. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring compliance with procedures, and maintaining a strong understanding of chemical management and Chain of Responsibility principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop personal capabilities through formal and informal training opportunities.
- Operate complex equipment to achieve quality and productivity goals, while generating solutions to inefficiencies.
- Deliver and supervise the transportation of goods following established procedures and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
- Supervise the delivery of warehouse tasks to ensure proper storage and recording of goods.
- Complete packaging tasks and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory following established procedures and address discrepancies or issues.
- Organize work schedule and coordinate with support services and team members.
- Follow HS&E policies, identify risks, and safeguard the environment and wellbeing of oneself and others.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes relevant to the role. Provision of quality customer service and ethical business transactions.
- Compliance with Record-keeping policies.
Mandatory:
- Certificate III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing and Storage) or equivalent industry experience
- Current C Class (Manual) driver’s licence
- Forklift Licence (Highly skilled in high reach forklift)
- Overhead crane certificate of competency
- Competence in Ellipse or equivalent
- Chain of Responsibility, Dangerous Goods, and Load Restraint Training
- Strong understanding of policies and procedures
- Basic Microsoft Suite capability including Outlook, Excel, and Word
