Warehouse & Logistics

Choices Flooring, the leading Australian retailer of flooring solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated warehouse store person for our busy Thornbury Warehouse for immediate start. This is a full-time position with room for growth within the warehouse/logistic team for the right person.

Duties:

• General Warehousing and coordination 
• Assist in daily workflow; in conjunction with the Warehouse/Installations Manager.
• Using carpet cutting machine to precut carpet - training will be provided and the preparation of other materials.
• Some heavy lifting required – complying with OH&S practices.
• Site deliveries when required. 

 Prerequisites:

• Hold a current driver's and Forklift licence. 
• Have attention to detail and be open to investigating queries & finding resolutions.       
• Be able to co-ordinate Team Calendar for all job installations & deliveries.
• Liaise professionally and efficiently with contractors etc.
• Manage inwards and outwards goods paperwork – inventory control 
• Basic Computer skills
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and working to deadlines.
• Hands-on and not afraid of hard work in a fast environment
• Great attitude and team player is essential to be successful in this role.
