The Opportunity
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for providing guidance to our team of warehouse staff, ensuring that the warehouse is safe, organised and provides efficient service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervising daily tasks and functions, e.g. timely processing/picking/dispatch of orders.
- Operating forklifts to pick and store stock when necessary.
- Managing, maintaining and championing quality standards.
- Ensuring all non compliance reports are managed in accordance with prescribed processes and procedures.
- Supervise and assist with stock checks and stocktakes for clients.
- Manage internal and external communications where required, including liaising with internal stakeholders (such as sales and customer service) regarding any updates to deliveries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Warehouse department.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- A current and valid Forklift Licence (LF/ LO) (required).
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Management role or similar (required).
- High technical knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Exceptional time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
