Significant Warehouse Management opportunity, to utilise your experience in a 3PL environment with Warehousing & Distribution functions.
Due to an internal promotion, this growing successful Australian wholesale Food Service business is seeking an experienced & committed Warehouse Manager for its Echuca Operation.
Based at Echuca, Cadell Food Service is a family-owned Australian Food Service success story. We have grown to a workforce of over 160 staff with offices in Echuca and Epping. Our success is based on the quality of our staff and a commitment to customer service for more than 20 years.
Our business is a growing successful participant in the warehousing, logistics and wholesale Food Service industry, who has recently invested in significant infrastructure in anticipation of further expansion.
This role will have the key objective of managing the following functions for the efficient and accurate management of our operations at Echuca:
· Warehousing and Distribution Management;
· WMS systems, Pick to voice, Inventory Management, Receival Management
· Customer Service outcomes;
· Labour management and utilisation;
· EBA [Enterprise Bargaining Agreement] oversight;
Critical KPIs for this new role will include:
· WHS Leadership and commitment;
· Mentoring & Development of staff
· Continuous improvement and quality;
· Effective WMS and achieving effective Pick & Receival rates with accuracy
· Operational financial issues and risk;
· Efficient, sustainable, profitable business outcomes;
· System planning and implementation;
· CoR [Chain of Responsibility]
· Maintenance / upkeep of Food Safety and HACCP accreditation.
· Customer Service levels, creating sustainable business outcomes.
· Efficiency improvements.
· Inventory Management across Ambient, Chilled & Frozen departments.
· Managing expenditure and variances against budget.
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
· Relevant tertiary qualifications. Cert IV Management or Diploma in Management preferred
· 4+ years of proven experience in Warehousing and Distribution Management,
· Demonstrated experience in WMS & voice picking, Stock Management
· Demonstrated experience in managing stock systems and end-to-end management of supply,
· Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team,
· Demonstrated results in continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service,
· Labour management and daily employee utilisation experience is essential,
· A clear understanding and appreciation of WHS and HACCP,
· Strong communication and influencing skills, and
· Proven people management skills including experience working within an EBA/Union environment.
Candidates with prior experience in Food Service, 3PL supply chain and warehousing & distribution industries will be highly regarded. It is expected that candidates will be able to address a significant proportion of the above requirements within their application.
The successful candidate would be based and working from our office and warehousing complex in Echuca.
This is a permanent full-time role and salary will be dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
