Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in North West Queensland and Western Australia.
Job Description
Warehouse Officer- Grosvenor Mine, Moranbah
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Officer will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse, including inventory, receipting, storage, safe custody, issuance, and subsequent distribution of the Company's assets used across our mine site. You will be required to maintain orderly storage and housekeeping practices within the warehouse to ensure the security of the Company's assets and to assist with accurate stock taking of inventory.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you will hold a Manual C Class, Forklift LF ticket and formal qualifications in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing and Storage), Logistics or Material Operations will be highly regarded. Proficiency using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will be required, preferably SAP. Previous experience in a warehouse/procurement environment within the Mining industry will be viewed favourably.
