We are now seeking a Warehouse Officer to join our Supply team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Supervisor: Supply.
This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/5 4/4 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.
Accountabilities:
- Goods issues and receipting utilising SAP Supply system.
- Undertake daily review of Spare Parts holdings, and update end users of availabilities.
- Provide a high level of service to Warehouse and Supply customers (at service counter) and around the site and maintain a close working relationship with team members.
- Assisting with accurate stocktaking of all inventories on a weekly basis.
- Assist the preparation of warehouse items for plant shutdowns.
- Load/unload trucks when required.
- Preparing inwards and outwards road & air freight.
- Deliveries around site.
- Safe forklift operation, loading and unloading of vehicles and reconciling against manifested items.
- General housekeeping.
About You

To be considered, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic with a willingness to uphold the Anglogold Ashanti Values. Along with these expectations the ideal candidate would ideally possess:
- Previous experience within a supply / warehouse environment on a mine site in a fly in fly out basis
- Sound written and oral communication skills, good organisational skills, and a good level of computer literacy.
- Experience in the Transport, Storage and Handling of Dangerous Goods
- A strong desire to succeed with a demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
- A Self-Starter with an ability to also work effectively within a team environment
- SAP Experience including the Materials Management Module as well as Microsoft Office suite- Outlook, Word and Excel
- Forklift license, WA high risk license (LF)
- Current WA driver’s license Unrestricted C-class Minimum, MR/HR unrestricted license will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work Permanently in Australia
- Able to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Existing and ongoing Permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
