About the role

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager this is a hands-on, integral role where you’ll lead by example ensuring our products are delivered in full and on time for our customers.
A typical day will involve
- Leading from the front – with all general warehousing duties such as loading & unloading deliveries, processing & shipping customer orders, checking and receipting in purchase orders and conducting daily cycle counts to ensure stock integrity
- Leading the team in conjunction with the Warehouse manager to achieve business targets and operational KPI’s
- Engage the team to maximise both individual and team outputs through active supervision and training
- Order dispatch, outbound freight management and scheduling is a key function of this role,
- Ensure compliance with all procedures and further enhance a strong WH&S culture.
- Providing exceptional customer service and sales support to both internal and external stakeholders
A bit about you
- Natural leader with previous hands-on experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role and a passion for operational excellence | Ability to help develop a high performing team and drive a positive culture.
- Evidence of being able to work successfully and proactively with a direct manager.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- To ultimately accept and acknowledge responsibility for all actions taken.
- Strong computer literacy with any knowledge of Pronto ERP highly regarded
- An ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment, and be adaptable to change.
- Possession of current forklift license
- Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience highly regarded
- Enthusiastic, ambitious and have a strong desire to learn and build a career with us
