The key role of the Warranty Administrator is to prepare warranty documents, submit warranty claims to the manufacturer and reconcile them accordingly.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Process and submit warranty claims to each manufacturer.
- Verify criteria required.
- Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
- Resubmit all rejected claims promptly to move the claim forward for approval.
- Follow up payments for outstanding claims.
- File and maintain all service records.
- Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
- Any other duties as directed.
- A proven track record working in a administrative role, that requires autonomy and high-level process.
- Experience within a dealership environment is highly desired.
- Previous experience within a non-automotive field, handling warranty and service will also be considered.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
