Purpose of the role

Starting out your career in business, communications, marketing or similar? As the Website Coordinator, you're the expert orchestrater ensuring our online presence stands out. You'll craft compelling content updates for various brands, focusing on enhancing user experience and mobile compatibility. We’re looking for an individual who is organised and an eye for details to support website updates, optimise campaigns and bring our online experiences to life. This is a great entry level opportunity with lots of exposure across the business working in the digital marketing team across our Greater Bank, Newcastle Permanent and NGM Group websites. 

What will your key responsibilities include? 

  • Executing website updates, embracing a mobile-first approach for an unforgettable user experience.
  • Conduct seamless collaborations with brand, marketing, and digital teams to deliver timely and top-notch updates.
  • Put your eagle eye to the test, meticulously testing updates, adhering to sign-off protocols, and keeping a trail of every transformation.
  • Venture into the digital frontier by researching and decoding competitor strategies, infusing our campaigns with cutting-edge brilliance.
  • Elevate our online performance by fine-tuning on-page SEO elements, from metadata to lightning-fast load speeds.
  • Analyse campaign and content performance like a pro, offering insights that fuel our monthly digital reports and strategic decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Enthusiasm for the digital realm, with completed or nearing completion of studies or qualifications in marketing, digital media, communications, or related fields.
  • A knack for teamwork, showcasing outstanding communication and negotiation skills to harmonise with diverse stakeholders.
  • A champion of effective governance, ensuring compliance processes are adhered to and meticulously documented.
  • A sharp eye for accuracy, ensuring your work is impeccable and errors are caught before they hit the stage.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities with finesse and delivering under pressure.
