Gold Coast based Events company is seeking a vibrant Events Specialist with a passion for Weddings. This role would be ideal for a person with experience in the Wedding Industry who wants to grow. An exciting opportunity for a creative Event Stylist/Set Designer/Visual Merchandiser to join a growing team. The opportunities within the company expand beyond weddings.
*PLEASE NOTE: This is a PART TIME role and hours are flexible according to the season. Hours range from 20-38 per week. Please only apply if you understand the hours highlighted.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The Event Specialist's focus will be in weddings and will report directly to the Company Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising event styling details, liaising with venues, clients, other departments, and suppliers. They will coordinate and assist the team in designing, installing, and packing down events where required.
Must have excellent administration skills and be an amazing communicator to ensure the clients vision is brought to fruition.
Looking for a team member who is happy to be hands on and who can build valuable relationships in-house and with our valuable clients. Someone who can work through challenges independently with confidence and above all is honest and professional (and fun!).
Skills and experience
The successful delegate MUST BE outgoing, creative, and hardworking with an eye for style and attention to detail.
Experience in weddings will be highly regarded.
Time management and enthusiasm to want to be part of a growing team.
Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new internal programs quickly.
Photoshop or similar program is desired but not required.
Must have current Australian drivers licence, own car, MAC computer, and phone.
Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
Can work under pressure to meeting tight deadlines.
In house training will be provided for certain aspects of the business.
