WELLBEING AND ENGAGEMENT LEAD

As a Wellbeing and Engagement Lead, you will develop, implement, and evaluate innovative lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents in Melbourne's North – West & CBD suburbs. You will support residents' physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs, collaborating with facility managers, care support coordinators, and community partners to ensure the provision of person-centred care.
What you bring:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged and Community Care)
- Certificate IV/Diploma in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) or relevant qualification at Certificate IV level
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in residential aged care or community setting
- Ability to assess and design appropriate individual lifestyle programs
- Understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people
- Well-developed communication, organisational, and computer skills
- Self-motivation with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check and NDIS check
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check (WWC)
- Willingness to transport residents to excursions
Desirable:
- Management qualifications at a Diploma Level (e.g., Frontline Management)
- Qualification as a Diversional Therapist
- Knowledge and experience of Aged Care Accreditation requirements
- Knowledge of current Health and Safety requirements
- First Aid knowledge
