About the Opportunity
As part of the City Culture Program the Wellbeing Support Officer provides administrative and project support to the Community Wellbeing team.
Some of the things you’ll see yourself doing include:
- Performing the administrative functions required to deliver Healthy Ageing and Social Programs, including but not limited to the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Council funded services.
- Coordinating Councils healthy ageing social programs including supporting activities, liaising with key stakeholders and promotion to the community.
- Coordinating content for the Community Wellbeing quarterly newsletter.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An understanding the issues and trends affecting older people and those experiencing social isolation.
- Knowledge of healthy ageing and community wellbeing issues and trends, and the range of issues that impact on vulnerable community groups.
- The ability to utilise resources with innovative and cost effective strategies to maximise community impact and benefit.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines.
- A strong commitment to internal and external customers demonstrated through the provision of timely, reliable advice on matters within area of responsibility.

Please be advised this is a part-time 0.8FTE, fixed term opportunity from July 2024 to June 2025 with a starting salary at the Level 3 Classification commencing at $77,210 (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
