This role will contribute to BMCC’s ability to deliver sustainable and continuously improving WH&S outcomes by developing and maintaining a capability that learns from safety-related incidents, gains insight into current safety practices, communicates learnings to the business, and generally fosters a culture of safety throughout the Council.
You will have:
• A minimum of a Certificate 4 in Workplace Health and Safety, and/or demonstrated equivalent workplace skills and experience in a prior WHS-based role.
• Demonstrated experience in several of the following disciplines:
o Research skills associated with WHS legislative requirements.
o Implementation of corporate programs and initiatives
o Workplace Inspections
o Accident / Injury investigation and analysis
o Workplace WH&S Consultation
o WHS risk assessments
o WHS data analysis
o WHS Safety Management System
A leaseback vehicle is available with this position.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $90,468 gross per annum
+ 11% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
