Exciting Role opportunities - Permanent and Temporary (12 months), Full-time, Herston | The role contributes to and supports the development, delivery, and evaluation of strategic allied health initiatives in collaboration with staff from areas across Queensland Health The role Working within the Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer, this role actively contributes to the development of strategic allied health initiatives targeting priority health concerns, workforce segments, and healthcare system reforms.
It involves gathering information, conducting data analysis, and engaging in environmental scanning to identify future challenges and opportunities for the allied health workforce, aligning with both intra-departmental and inter-departmental priorities. Additionally, you will have to implement and oversee administrative systems and processes to ensure the Branch's activities are conducted smoothly and with efficiency. You will also coordinating designated projects and programs within established project management frameworks, providing comprehensive reporting on performance metrics.
Collaboration with stakeholders, including Hospital and Health Services, other Departmental areas, and external agencies, is integral to project contributions and consultation activities, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement across Branch operations.
The successful person To excel in this position, you should have a proven track record of developing, implementing, and evaluating inventive and resourceful solutions to accomplish organizational goals, including successful delivery of project or program outcomes. You should also possess the ability to collect, analyse and present data from various sources, enabling you to discern, formulate, and implement program and project management systems and processes.
For success in this role, you must highlight proficiency in devising, assessing and executing inventive strategies to meet organizational goals, particularly in achieving project or program objectives. Moreover, you should demonstrate adeptness in gathering and meticulously analysing data from diverse outlets to establish and execute program or project management protocols and procedures. Furthermore, possessing advanced oral and written communication capabilities alongside adept consultation skills for both internal and external stakeholders, including tasks such as drafting correspondence and organizing meetings, is crucial.
Additionally, you should exhibit the capacity to offer guidance to senior management, effectively collaborate within team environments, and adeptly manage conflicting priorities to fulfill agreed-upon deadlines and obligations.
