We have an exciting opportunity to join our biggest banking contract in the Pacific as Workplace and Facilities Manager employed on a Full Time basis.

The role will be based in our client’s Perth CBD Office with travel across the client’s retail banking portfolio in WA required.

Ideally, you will have strong background in managing FM in a diverse property portfolio with a focus on workplace experience. This is an opportunity to join ISS where you leverage your skills and knowledge in Facility Management and take your career to the next level!

The Workplace and Facilities Manager will primarily be focused on the operational delivery of an exceptional workplace experience and the enhancement and support of employee experience initiatives.  The management and provision of facilities maintenance services will be required, along with the following responsibilities:

• The day-to-day operational facilities and management service for the customer property for which they are allocated, maintaining standards which meet or exceed the expectations of the financial sector. 
• The oversight and management of maintenance of plant and equipment, contract management, project management, health & safety, environmental management, soft services management.
• Leading Workplace and community engagement projects.

A snapshot of what you will do: 

• Provide exceptional customer service, meeting all customer expectations
• Oversee maintenance services, including coordinating specialised trades
• Ensure tasks are completed within SLA timeframes, including the delivery of urgent/critical works
• Mitigate risk to buildings for users by ensuring facilities are fit for purpose
• Manage safety, environmental and quality control of all hard FM activities
• Oversee and manage meeting rooms, mailroom activities and general administration relating to the workplace, including troubleshooting equipment issues, support with security passes and administration of permit to work requirements
• Adherence to site budgets including materials, chemicals and consumables expenditure
• Ensure regular quality audits/inspections are conducted and all hazards, incidents and accidents are reported and investigated
• Respect property, privacy and confidentiality at all times, including employee information (in particular, timesheet and payroll information
• Represent ISS as a professional, responsive and committed partner to the success and continuous improvement of the contract
• Understand the safety cultures: E.g.: Maintain a Zero Harm Culture / Hazard identification / Near Miss and Incident Reporting / Client specific safety systems and requirements

What will you possess to be successful   

• Previous experience in facilities or workplace management, building and maintaining successful relationships along with an outstanding track record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated ability managing stakeholder relationships and the ability to deal positively with difficult situations in an empathetic and respectful manner
• Proven experience leading and managing diverse teams effectively and managing complex delivery models
• Resilient nature and ability to deliver results under pressure and within short deadlines
• Awareness of workplace health & safety regulations  
• Knowledge of health, safety and asset management regulations and standards such as ISO55001.
• Exceptional planning, organizing and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Able to pass a national police check and banking client’s probity process
