Form of workYouth Programs Officer Town of Victoria Park | Perth Metropolitan Closing date: 19/02/2024 Your new employer The Town is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Youth Programs Officer to join our Community Development team in a part-time capacity (22 hours per week) on a 12 month contract with possible extension.
Your new role You will be responsible for: Managing and supporting the Vic Park Young Leaders group to build their skills, develop and deliver youth-specific activities and initiatives.
Supporting the CDO – Youth and Diversity and delivering on actions within the Youth Action Plan. Our ideal candidate will have progress towards or completion of TAFE or tertiary qualification in youth and/or community development or other relevant field experience experience developing and delivering community-based programs, activities and/or events experience. high level interpersonal skills to establish positive working relationships with young people, community representatives, colleagues and contractors.
