By completing an apprenticeship at one of the Thiess mines in New South Wales, you will join the Future Talent of Thiess.Thiess is offering a 4-year structured program where we pride ourselves on producing some of the best tradespersons in the resources industry.Important Information
- 1 July 2024 start date
- Positions are not available for current apprentices who have already started an apprenticeship in the same field
- Paid fly-in fly-out is not available for these positions
Requirements- For 2023 Year 12 school leavers - a pass in English and Mathematics (not required for mature age applicants (over 21))
- COVID Vaccination Certificate - Client requirement for entry to selected sites
- Hold a current Australian drivers licence (provisional accepted, manual preferred)
- You will need to be self-motivated and have a mature attitude to complete the required studies

- Standard 11 (QLD only)
- First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
- 4WD Defensive Driver Training Course
- College fees and associated costs paid for by Thiess
