Account Executive - Construction

At WTW we are seeking a full-time Account Executive to join our Construction team in Melbourne. Whether you are from within or outside the Insurance sector this is a great opportunity to learn and be mentored by our senior brokers and to start a new career with WTW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Senior Brokers in all aspects of client servicing to maintain and grow an existing book of Construction business. Key areas of accountability will include client servicing, preparation of client documentation, assistance with claims management, client database management and liaison with underwriters.

This role is also open to Graduate level candidates.

The Role:

• Provide assistance to senior brokers when required and effectively manage and grow a portfolio of clients ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met.
• Accurately prepare client documentation such as renewal questionnaires and reports, quote slips, placing slips, client manuals and invoice documents, including premium funding quotes
• Provide support to senior brokers in managing larger clients’ insurance, risk management and programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and other key stakeholders (internal and external), representing WTW in a professional manner
• Maintain comprehensive client data on WTW systems, facilities and databases
• Respond to client claims enquiries, provide advice on the claims work closely with the claims team
• Contribute to individual and team annual new business targets ensuring they are met
• Ensure pipeline accuracy and quality is maintained on a regular basis
• Debtor collections are managed ithe n accordance with the terms of trade
• Ensure that premium funding is offered to all clients
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures
• Achieve and maintain compliance with the Financial Services Reform Act Tier 1
• Undertake professional development when required
