Account Executive

This role will assist Senior brokers within the team in all aspects of client servicing including managing client portfolios, administration, technical support and business development.
The suitable candidate will have insurance broking or general insurance experience, with a passion to learn and brilliant organisation skills.

We will count on you to:
- Support Senior and Principal Account Broker's with portfolio management;
- Assist with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs which accurately address client needs
- Establishing, development and maintenance of long term relationships with key decision makers
- Ability to acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers
- Identifying products which benefit the client and meet their needs
- Timely and accurate processing of invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording, certificates of currency and all other documentations;
- Liaising and negotiating with clients, underwriters and claims managers;
- Develop and maintain a basic technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance and specialist services which the company offers to its clients.

- Technology - Understands and effectively applies the Company's specialised technology resources to meet objectives and satisfy client needs.
- Organisation - Considers future client needs and plans accordingly to make available sufficient resources. Consistently operates with a highly self-organised style to produce accurate work on time; organises group tasks and resources on behalf of the team; efficiently implements instructions delegated by manager/supervisor; produces work with the confidence of manager/supervisor.
- Communication - Conveys written and verbal messages effectively to various audiences, adapting approach as appropriate. Displays sound listening and comprehensive skills.
- Innovation - Develops new and alternative approaches to existing practices, creates new or improved processes, solutions, products and services. Maintains an openness to experiment with alternative approaches.
