ABOUT THE ROLE
L'Occitane Australia are seeking an Account Executive to drive sales and profitability in the VIC/SA/TAS regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring profitability within the wholesale business segment, with a particular focus on key accounts such as David Jones, Pharmacies, and Wholesale accounts.
This role involves developing and executing business plans, monitoring performance, implementing marketing strategies, managing inventory levels, and providing market intelligence. Additionally, this role will play a key role in expanding our distribution network by identifying and appointing suitable new stockists.
Main responsibilities include:
- Develop annual business plans for the Wholesale business in VIC/SA/TAS regions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor performance against business plans and take corrective action as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to implement wholesale marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
- Set detailed goals for each account and monitor service criteria.
- Manage financial and marketing risks within the business segment.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and recommend actions to reduce slow-moving or discontinued items.
- Prepare regular reports highlighting variances against budget and proposed corrective actions.
- Act as a primary source of market intelligence and report on competitive activity and brand performance.
- Seek out and appoint new stockists, setting objectives and monitoring progress.
- Develop sales and contribution plans for major customers and conduct regular training sessions.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the wholesale channel.
- Passionate and driven to contribute to the success of the business.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present information at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain high standards.
- Ability to multi-task whilst remaining calm under pressure
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting and P&L accountability
