Based in Wetherill Park, you will be responsible for reporting directly to the Sales Manager. Your role will involve a primary focus on fostering strong customer relationships, developing growth strategies, and ensuring the effectiveness of our sales team.
Your day will involve:
- Accept and carry out responsibilities in accordance with the relevant Boral OHS system
- Effectively Drive & manage Inbound Sales and Provide Outbound Sales Support
- Engage all team members on the importance of customer feedback both positive and negative and complaint resolutions
- Ensure customer feedback is being recorded, reviewed, actioned and closed off to the customer’s understanding endeavouring to achieve complete satisfaction and discuss with Sales Manager any areas that require additional review and/or assistance
- Prepare and submit timely & accurate quotations. Actively engage key team members and personally participate in the tendering process for new contracts. Follow up and close out of all quotations.
- Identify existing and new orders in target profitable segments
- Lead and manage a customer service focus culture at all sites within region
- Understand competitors in area and have a detailed knowledge of their capability and value propositions and provide Sales Manager with information
- Understand the business structure and needs of each customer. Structured questioning to find out the customers, customer’s needs and wants and provide Sales Manager with recommendations
What are we looking for?
- 5 years sales/account management experience
- Familiarity with construction, recycling and demolition industry
- Familiarity across aggregates and roadbase products
- Highly developed understanding of sales tools, methodologies and business processes
- Self-motivated and ability to operate autonomously without constant supervision and direction, communication, negotiation and arbitration skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people
