An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Account Manager to join our Roma team. Our Account Manager will be responsible for actively generating and pursing development opportunities within our existing customer base and the broader market. The chosen candidate will use their existing knowledge of Construction, Civil, Infrastructure, Mining and Drilling industries to work closely with our experienced Management team to increase sales within our dry and wet hire divisions.
The Person
An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, you will possess the following attributes:
- Experience in the Capital Equipment/Plant Hire Industry with an intermediate knowledge of equipment types and capabilities
- Experience in Baseplan or alternative hire software
- High level understanding of estimating, and tender and submissions development
- High level of client relations experience with solid conversion success from leads to outcomes
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Well-developed verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
