Division / Department Summary

Our dedicated national team comprises skilled professionals focused on providing unparalleled solutions to our pharmacy customers. Led by the Head of Pharmacy Sales, the team is committed to excellence in execution, customer relationship management, and strategic collaboration. About you

We are looking for an energetic, experienced candidate with a growth mindset who is customer-centric, curious, and solution-focused. 

You know how to deliver the right amount of information at the right time and with the right message. You are highly conscious of brand equity and how to protect and elevate the brands in line with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Field-based position responsible for a geographic territory, primarily focusing on nurturing and developing relationships with key stakeholders including, pharmacists, pharmacy owners, and specialty dispensaries. 
  • Create and implement a territory plan for a defined geographic territory that aligns with the company's business focus and annual operating plan.   
  • You will work collaboratively with other areas of the business including the medical science liaison team supporting lead generation and fostering relationships between prescribers, pharmacies, and patients contributing to the Canview eco-system.
  • Facilitation, coordination, and management of educational meetings, round table meetings, and trade displays as required. 
  • Deliver educational presentations 1:1, online, and in group settings delivery on category, product, and/or digital platforms. 
  • Interpret and relay external feedback to management in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide territory monthly reports including territory sales analysis and activity, effectively evaluating the effectiveness of activities, and identifying solution-focused growth opportunities and initiatives. 
  • Attend relevant symposiums and conferences as a company representative including Pharmacy Trade shows, and medical symposiums from time to time.  
    These may occur outside of normal trading hours including evenings and weekends. 
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with the applicable regulations and Code of Conduct for the region.  
  • Maintain the highest level of knowledge of our products and competitors, and relevant therapeutic areas.   
  • Actively record all activities utilising CRM (i.e. ZOHO) in a meaningful manner which provides insights to the leadership team.  
  • Gather and communicate clinical insights identified through interactions with Scientific Experts and other healthcare providers.  
  • Develop and implement local plans in line with the strategic engagement plan.
  • Demonstrate tact and professionalism when communicating and interacting with others.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Head of Pharmacy Sales and the Leadership Team.  

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role as a Pharmacy Account Manager.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Business or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • A prominent level of experience in account management with the ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.  
  • A team player who is highly professional and self-motivated 
  • A demonstrated ability to analyse data and outcome-focused territory plans.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and significant skillset in negotiation and influence. 
  • Kind and compassionate with a firm but fair approach.
  • A solutions-focused and energetic approach to driving territory market share.
  • Tech savvy with advanced computer processing skills including Microsoft Suite.

Other items required:

  • Australian working rights for at least 3 years
  • Clean criminal record – National Police Check requirement
  • Unrestricted full driver’s licence

Canview is a digital health platform that delivers prescribing, dispensing, and medication management solutions for medicinal cannabis. CanView enables registered health professionals to browse, prescribe, and order medicines in one streamlined, compliant, and free-to-use platform.  

The platform simplifies the prescribing and ordering process for both doctors and pharmacists while also enabling eligible patients to access the widest range of available products and easily manage their ongoing treatment journey. 

Canview currently serves thousands of pharmacy and doctor customers around Australia through the platform as well as through the company’s distribution arm via Burleigh Heads Cannabis, all of which are currently in a stage of hyper-growth and expansion to enable the significant increase in its user base.
