My client provides domestic and commercial pumps for Agriculture, Municipal, Mining, Industrial and Residential sectors, providing the right solutions to their customers pumping needs. They are looking for a commercially savvy and technically competent Account Manager to drive sales growth and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the agriculture, building/mining services sectors in North Queensland.
Role Overview:
As a Commercial Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth in North Queensland through the development and management of relationships with dealers, and resellers in the agriculture, and mining services sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pumping systems, with the ability to provide technical application knowledge to customers. They should be a natural hunter with experience selling complex pumping systems and packages, and a solid understanding of building a pipeline for future revenue,
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the agriculture & building services
- Routinely update territory plans, customer visits, market insights and opportunities though
- Provide technical application knowledge to customers and consultants
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of future business opportunities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for customers
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers and stakeholders at end-user level and also boardroom level
- Attend industry functions as required or as deemed necessary by manager, such as
creative trends About you:
- Working background or experience within Horticulture or Agricultural Market
- 3+ years selling/customer service experience, water irrigation, Pumps, Horticulture Products
- A strong technical aptitude and an understanding of technical solution selling
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM systems)
