Who are you?
- You are able to demonstrate a solid finance background with a track record of making a difference to your team
- You are a great all rounder with experience in an SME
- You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting, preferably CPA qualified
- You are highly analytical and your natural curiosity drives you to deliver insightful analysis on financial data and interpretation
- You are capable and have a track record of using Xero and Excel as an advanced tool
- You are self-motivated and able to work unsupervised as well as in a team
- You have initiative, drive, strong time management skills and love problem solving
- You enjoy being hands-on and involved in transactional tasks
- You are proud of your attention to detail, high level of accuracy and strong work ethics
- You want to be part of a progressive, dynamic company that is prepared to disrupt outdated processes.
You have 5+ years accounting experience in a SME or in the insurance industry
The role
As an integral part of the Finance Team, you will utilise your excel ability to analyse data to produce accurate invoicing and drive revenue. You will be a self starter and love to challenge the process and find better ways to meet your objectives. You will love the thrill of keeping accounts receivable to a minimum and assist various stakeholders to ensure they are maximising their revenue. You will also use your accounting ability for end to end accounts payable and assist the team in reporting, reconciliations, trust accounting and may have payroll tax, FBT and payroll experience. You will have a thirst to learn and assist the team in achieving all financial objectives.
