Marlet Flooring is a fast growing construction materials supplier in the local market, we’re benefiting from Australian construction industry boosting and has fantastic prospects and stable development in the long run.

Currently we’re looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic finance professional to work closely with senior management level throughout the business.  Job is based in Rydalmere. The incumbent is a proactive team worker , high attention to details, well organised, fast moving and prepared to roll up their sleeves to get things done.  

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• General duties for daily accounting/accounts, invoicing to clients and answering clients enquiries regarding invoices 
• GL and Bank reconciliations, fixed assets registration and maintenance
• Monthly & weekly Payroll
• Entering finance info/data  into the project/job system and preparing for job performance analysis
• Monthly management reporting and year end statutory accounts preparation for external accountant to review and submit
• AR & AP control, chasing payment with clients and preparing bills to pay suppliers in a regular and timely manner; ensure company’s cash flow runs smoothly
• Dealing with banker, Fx dealer, insurancer, auditor, gov authorities as needed 
• Working closely with management and internal departments
• Ad-hoc projects and further business analysis as per management required

Skills and experience:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English. Mandarin speaking is preferred but not essential
• Proven experience in a similar role 
• Intermediate excel skills and understanding of finance systems and processes
• Sound analytical skills and keen to learn innovation 
• Tafe/tertiary studies in Accounting/Business, CPA preferred but not essential
• Self-motivated and ability to work within a team environment.
