Accountant - Full Or Part-Time

Coastal Accountants & Advisors is looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our collaborative and friendly team based in our Coolum office.

Our team enjoys a standard four-day work week (with full-time benefits).  This position can also be tailored to suit the needs of the right candidate, offering either Full or Part-Time employment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completion of accounting work including the preparation of Business Activity Statements, Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals / partnerships / trusts / companies. 
• Experience with Self-Managed Superannuation Funds would be an advantage.
• Communication directly with partners, clients and the Australian Taxation Office.

ATTRIBUTES

You should have the following:

• Experience in a similar role would be ideal
• Current knowledge of Australian Taxation Legislation and a commitment to maintain your professional development
• We are a cloud based office and experience with Xero, SuiteFiles, CAS, SF360 and Microsoft Office will be well regarded
• Great time management and organisational skills to be able to work to deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Be fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
