Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Accountant, at an intermediate level with at least 2 years’ experience to join our team at ECAC. As an integral part of our firm, you will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting, taxation services and business advisory to our clients. The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial statement, income tax return and activity statement preparation and analysis
• Handle tax planning, preparation, and filing activities
• Provide business advisory services to clients, offering strategic financial guidance
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and challenges
• Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Proven experience in accounting and taxation
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation legislation, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB Accountants Office and Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite
