HYF is a CPA/CA firm based in Cairns, Far North Queensland. We are currently a team of 9. Due to the continued growth and success, we now have a full-time opportunity for an motivated and energetic candidate to join our growing team.

About the role

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for company, trust, partnership, and sole trader;
• Preparing business activity statements;
• Assistance with tax advice and planning; and 
• Liaising with clients.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for applicants with the following:

• Started or planning to start CPA/CA;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public practice accounting;
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written; and
• Proficient with MYOB, Quickbook, XERO and Microsoft Office.
• Strong work ethic, values driven individual, with well-developed time management.
