About You
We are actively searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should be ready to hit the ground running.
To succeed in this role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful candidate should be self-driven and complete daily tasks in a professional and timely manner.
- Extensive Xero knowledge and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- An understanding of payroll legislation and awards
- Proven experience in the required tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Debt collection
- Weekly payroll for 20+ employees, EA adherence, PAYG, Super
- BAS, IAS
- Management of apprenticeship claims with MEGT
- Management of plant and equipment including motor vehicles and insurances
- EOFY reporting including Worksafe, Payroll Tax
- Liaison with external accountants
- Reporting to internal stakeholders
- Management of accounts inbox and correspondence
- Monthly operational/budgetary review meetings
- Financial Planning and Analysis Meetings
