Duties and Responsibilities
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Monthly Sales Rep Reports
- Monthly Commission Reports
- Monthly P&L Reports
- Monthly Accounts Payable and Receivable Reconciliation
- Payroll & Super Reconciliation
- Process Monthly Payroll Tax
- Process Monthly PAYG Payments
- Process Quarterly BAS Payments
- End of Month Customer and Supplier Reconciliation
- Foreign exchange payments
- Intercompany accounts
- Accruals and prepayments
- Fix Asset Register
- Liaising with the company's external Chartered Accounting firm
Required skills and experience
- Australian Bookkeeping experience within a small to medium business structure
- Microsoft Office and Excel Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Take ownership of tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong data and analysis skills
- Experience with working across a varied range of accounting systems
Highly regarded:
- Australian bookkeeping or accounting qualifications
- Stable employment record
- Solid accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Must be able to start immediately.
- Flexible hours 2- 3 days plus per week
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and MYOB Greentree Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- High level of accuracy
- Superior oral and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate will become a vital member of the business and must be able to use their initiative and have a "can do attitude". Salary is negotiable depending on the applicant.
