An exciting opportunity awaits you to join our Accounting practice within a well-established and highly successful financial services group located in Morningside. We are seeking someone to join the team as an Administration Officer on a fulltime or part-time basis. Hours can be made flexible for the right candidate.
You will work alongside a team of accountants and administration with previous experience in this role who will manage your daily activity. You will possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and organisational skills. You will be someone who can think on their feet, be a team player and possess excellent people skills.
You will be expected to take on various roles, including, but not limited to:
- Attending to ATO, ASIC & ABR registrations, administration and daily liaison with these departments;
- Controlling and managing the firm's workflow;
- Client Liaison
- Database upkeep (Xero);
- Lodgment of tax returns and BAS's
- Preparation and posting of invoices;
networks and relationships with clients; - Various other administrative tasks within the practice as required;

- Sense of urgency with the ability to remain 'unflustered' under pressure;
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills to foster trusted and professional relationships;
- Technically savvy, with strong skills in MS Office suite and accounting platforms (Xero and BGL);
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask;
- High level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters; and
- Ability to work effectively supporting more than one individual.
