WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced Accounting, Bookkeeping and Administration officer. Our ideal person is someone who is an enthusiastic and professional worker who is able to follow procedures and manage orders and documentation. This person will need to be able to work independently and within a small team, have an open mind for learning and adding to their skillset. You must have a positive can-do attitude and have great organisational skills. Having these attributes will see you excel in this role allowing for scope to grow in duties and responsibilities within the business.
KEY TASKS
- Issuing & receipting of purchase orders
- Internal KPI reporting
- Monthly invoicing
- Assistance with quote follows ups/sales support.
- Inventory control.
- Business improvement works including implementation of new procedures.
- Provide support to Managing Director, our sales representatives and Logistics and warehouse team.
- General administrative tasks.
- Bookkeeping duties, including accounts receivable & payable, debt collection, reconciliations, payroll, reporting, BAS, cash flow support etc.
- Excellent customer communication.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Preferable CPA/CA Registered
- Tax experience
- Solid understanding and experience of inter-entity transactions.
- Current Quickbooks accounting software experience
- Competent computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a small team.
- Understanding of business/financial operations
- Must be thorough and have attention to detail.
- Be willing and able to learn new software programs.
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to fit in.
- Knowledge of Inventory management systems
- Having a logical and meticulous manner in following company procedures
- Very good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks to ensure good workflow.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
