Position: This position is crucial in supporting management team while managing accounts and office functions for the business. at the current time there wouldn't be enough full-time accounting to do so our client is looking for someone who can jump in and help put with some PA work and general office work.
Responsibilities:
Accounts:
- Provide advice on business related expenses
- Manage the accounts payable process, including receiving and verifying invoices, coding expenses, and processing payments using Xero software.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable and Payroll
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Owners, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, general ad hoc work.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence at hoc
- Act as the primary point of contact between Director, employees, clients, and external partners where required.
General Administration:
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, answering phones, and maintaining office supplies.
- Support HR-related activities, including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinate special projects and events as needed.
- Proven experience in an accounting position
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
