Our Business Services division provides a whole realm of associated business services and advice to small businesses; from business set-up, compliance, financial and management reporting, to business and tax-effective strategies.
This exciting new role of Practice Manager is pivotal within our Business Services team as it is the operations manager of our ‘engine room’.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating jobs and client activities between Business Services Managers, Bookkeepers, Accountants and Reviewers, to ensure a high level of service delivery and quality service standards are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties will include monitoring of:
- new and existing client engagements,
- work in-progress, job completion and turnaround times,
- timesheets, time allocations to budgets on jobs and productivity,
- payment of services provided,
- adherence to systems and processes,
- communications across different divisions within the company
- oversee our administration and quality review functions.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Accounting degree and/or membership of an Accounting Association
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting firm or professional practice
- Good time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to providing quality service to clients
- Ability to work independently and with a team, with limited supervision and direction
- Ability to delegate tasks and monitor progress to ensure deliverables are met
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- A high level of Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) knowledge
- Use of Microsoft Office products
- Positive attitude
- High standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
