We are looking for an Accounting Practice Manager to join a Public Accounting Practice. We are looking for an Accounting Practice Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the same or similar role. This is a permanent Full-Time role with an attractive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, plus super.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Human Resources Management: recruitment, appraisals, policies, payroll (AU & Ph), performance
• Weekly KPI reporting
• Admin Workflow Management
• Production Management Overview
• IT security management
• Staff mentorship & training
• Oversee that client work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Development of internal systems
• Managing OH&S and HR issues/obligations
• Staff onboarding
• Client onboarding
• General administration duties including management of calls and appointments

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

• At least 5 years of experience in the same or similar role
• Business Management/HR Certification is desirable
• The Cert IV Bookkeeping/Accounting qualification is desirable but not a necessity
• High level of interpersonal skills
• Organised and articulate
• Outcome-focused
• Process-driven
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-suite
• Ability to work well in a team
• A proactive leader with the ability to manage the team (performance management, coordinate training, motivate and monitor the team performance)
• Problem-solving skills
• Organisations skills
• Ability to plan and regularly review where everything is at
• Leadership potential
