Accounts Administration Officer

100% West Australian owned and operated Eco Resources, Premium Waste Management and Premium Allsands is a leader in waste management, resource recovery, recycling services and provision of high-quality sand and quarry products throughout Western Australia. Our facilities efficiently process construction and demolition waste, with industry leading recovery rates.  Our aim is to provide a direct alternative to landfill with a strong focus on what our customers need and how we can achieve the highest rate of recycling in WA. 

We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Administration Officer to join our team.  

About the role:

Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager, this position will require the successful candidate to work at our facility located in Hope Valley.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Support and work cohesively with senior team members
• End to end accounts payable & receivable duties
• Maintain and update Customer and Supplier details as well as registers
• Answering Phone and directing calls to correct department
• Provide back up for Leave cover
• Liaise with suppliers, customer and team members
• Managing Accounts email Inboxes

The Roster: 

Monday to Friday - hours are rostered between 8.00am and 5:00pm                 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years experience in an accounts role
• Intermediate skills in MYOB Accountright Live
• Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Customer service experience
• Exceptional communication skills, combined with professional presentation 
• Excellent time management
• High level of attention to detail & accuracy
• Confident phone manner
• Positive and professional attitude with the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
• Working to tight deadlines
• Valid WA Drivers License & reliable transportation
• Previous experience in the waste management industry (Desirable)
