We are seeking an Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team and support our daily office procedures. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all financial transactions for the business are processed and recorded correctly.
As an Accounts & Administration Officer, you will be required to provide a range of bookkeeping and administrative support duties, including but not limited to:
- Bookkeeping: maintain accurate finance record as accounts payable, receivable, and payroll including the verification, coding, and processing of invoices, using XERO Software.
- Invoicing: Coordinate, approve, and manage invoice escalations.
- Creditor and Debtor Reports: Organize and generate creditor and debtor reports.
- Payment Scheduling: Schedule payments accurately and on time.
- Payroll: Complete payroll tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Superannuation: Handle superannuation reporting and payments, employee record keeping and confidentiality.
- Review and process expense reimbursements for employees.
- Reconcile supplier balances with statements, resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Provide general administrative support to other employees.
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails.
- Receptionist duties
- Attend to incoming emails and accounts phone calls.
- Updating database information
- Maintaining a clean and organized office space
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our administrative activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis this position is full time Monday – Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 2.30pm.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an account payable, receivable and payroll functions.
- Strong skills with Xero.
- Detail orientated.
- An ability to multitask, priorities and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel.
