Irwin Stockfeeds is a family-owned business which specialises in the manufacture of quality stockfeed to the Dairy and Beef industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts administrator in our busy North Melbourne head office. The position is full time and a pivotal role within the administration team.
The responsibilities include:
- Predominantly processing accounts payable with some accounts receivables, daily banking, and invoicing
- Related month-end reconciliation activities including monthly statements.
- Processing payments including by credit card
- Assist with general credit control and debt recovery
- Data entry
- Ordering administration supplies & inventory control
- Filing, scanning to internal databases CRMs
- Handling general telephone and email enquiries
- General administration tasks
- General office duties
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Bookkeeping experience an advantage
- Outstanding organisation, time management and communication skills
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and able to work in a team environment
- A strong understanding of customer service
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- High capacity for multitasking
- Excellent computer skills – Excel a must
- Experience using MYOB preferable
