Located at our Murray Bridge operation, we are currently seeking a person to join our team with Accounts Payable/Receivable experience, who is committed, professional and reliable and will use these attributes to achieve CW Products goals.
Internal support and training will be provided where required.
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the person we are seeking will possess the following attributes:
- Must have previous experience in an accounts payable and receivable environment.
- Be highly motivated.
- Have a high degree of accuracy
- Can demonstrate you have a 'can do' attitude and can work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to understand and follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills.
Experience & Skills:
- The candidate must have previous experience in an accounts environment.
- Excellent organisational and strong communication skills.
- Customer focused, proactive and reliable
- Able to work with and contribute to a small hard working team.
- Willing to be part of a small hard working team
- Attention to detail
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Accounts Payable – including daily data entry of Vendor invoices, Payment to suppliers (COD and EOM) via EFT, Reconciliation of EOM statements and maintaining Vendor accounts
- Accounts Receivable – including receipting and apply payments daily, Processing Sales Credits, Debtor collections and maintaining Customer accounts including credit insurance
- Process monthly credit card transactions
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Telephone support including taking payments or answering queries.
- Payroll processing – backup to Financial Accountant
- End of month specific tasks
Qualifications:
- Current drivers license essential
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
