SalaryWe are searching for that great someone to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable professional to join a great team. Ideally, you are an organised and self-motivated person who likes working and creating systems and structure in a workplace. A minimum of 2 years experience in office accounts administration is required and some experience with Smokeball Legal software or similar would be welcomed. Knowledge of current Trust Accounting is a must.
Work involved would include reception, answering phones, filing, archiving and securities, invoicing/debt collection, general accounting and trust accounting administration duties as they arise. The position would also entail, liaising and preparing accounts for the Firm's bookkeepers and accountants.
The position requires someone who can follow through and take ownership of the tasks at hand, can work autonomously, is proactive, and keeps clear communication records of work undertaken.
We are a small suburban law firm that deals mainly with family, criminal, civil, and conveyancing. We offer a great workplace dynamic and flexible working hours; approximately 3 to 5 days per week. Potential for a full-time permanent position offered at the end of a 6-month probationary period. School hours are also available for the right candidate.
After the probation period working from home will be considered if requested
