Tim Davies Landscaping (TDL) are a leading residential and commercial landscape company in Western Australia that has been in the business for over 40 years. We have designed, constructed and maintained many of Western Australia’s most iconic gardens. THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Finance Department in the full-time role of Accounts Administrator. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will assist in all Accounts and Admin functions of the Finance department.
This role would suit someone with at least 1-3 years accounts experience looking for a change, to immediately dive in and support the team in a busy but fun office environment. The role is available for immediate start.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Assist with all facets of Accounts Payable invoicing and processing tasks;
- Assist with Customer invoicing, collection, and receipt allocation tasks;
- Manage and maintain uniform stock;
- Distribute incoming Accounts mail;
- Ensuring staff kitchen amenities are adequately stocked;
- General administrative tasks for the department such as filing and stationery management;
- Answer overflow calls from reception; and
- Provide support to other Accounts and Admin-focused tasks/projects as required.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally, an individual with at least 1-3 years’ experience working in an Accounts role, in a similar sized business and industry;
- Experience working with a range of accounting software and the MS Office Suite is highly desirable. At a minimum, well developed computer skills are essential;
- Experience using a complex ERP system (exposure to MYOB Advanced – note this is not AccountRight – would be a distinct advantage);
- Enthusiastic team player, who thrives in a busy environment where their support assists others;
- Eager to learn and grow, and is committed to on-the-job training opportunities;
- Organised and refined prioritisation skills;
- Takes pride in their work with a high attention to detail; and
- Capable of working in an open planned office.
