Unipart Group Australia is looking for a highly motivated, mature minded and skilled Accounts Assistant. You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions for all business units within Unipart Group Australia including all accounts payable functions and bank and ledger reconciliations.
Working alongside the Finance Managers, you will be responsible for:
- Complete accounts payable function across the group including entering all invoices, forwarding remittances, and reconciling payments
- Bank reconciliation for all business units
- Assisting with accounts receivable and invoicing customers
- Raising inter-entity invoices and charges
- Entering employee expense claims for payment
- Submission of BAS returns
- Assistance with month-end reporting including balance sheet recs and posting journals.
- Ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven accounting system skills with 5+years experience in a similar role
- Proficient with SAP
- Strong MS product, in particular Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask, maintain composure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Real team player
